Twilight in London. . . enchanting.
Thus concludes my first real visit to the illustrious city. (I can finally blog about Scotland, Grandma and Grampa.) London, of course, is fantastic; it is somewhere I would love to explore more. We did a lot in two days, though -- in addition to touring, we went to see A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Wild Duck in the West End. The former was spectacular. (I slept through half of it, but still managed to write a five-page review on it! When Puck said we had "but slumbered" there, it had new meaning for me.) I especially liked the fairies, who were creepy and beautiful and managed to be the forest. The Wild Duck was on a smaller, but more intimate scale, and was more emotionally involving. I definitely did not sleep, but I did want to throw things at a few of the characters.
